Greyledge: A CIA Director’s Hideaway. - Allen Dulles, JFK, MKUltra, and the Secrets in Henderson Harbor, NY   We all have places from our past that bring us peace. For most of us, it’s from our childhood or young adult life. A hometown we grew up in. A group of friends we could always depend on. Family. Or, maybe, it’s that childhood sweetheart you think back on and often pondered “the leap not taken” with.  For the man who influenced the intelligence world like none other and left a legacy that lives on to this day, Allen Welsh Dulles was no exception. For Dulles, he never forgot his birthplace of Watertown, NY nor the family cottage up the road in Henderson Harbor, NY where he spent his childhood summers. As an adult, he continued to use it as his private office and vacation spot after becoming head of the CIA - even turning it into a private hideaway while preparing for the Warren Commission.
